How does billing work?
KostKube subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your chosen billing cycle. Payments are securely processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and sales tax compliance on our behalf. When you are charged, the transaction may appear on your bank or credit card statement as "Paddle" or "Paddle.com". You will receive a VAT-compliant receipt from Paddle after each payment.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal through Paddle's secure checkout. For Enterprise plans, wire transfer and invoice billing are available. All prices are listed and charged in US Dollars (USD). Paddle automatically handles currency conversion and local tax compliance where applicable.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@kostkube.com. When you cancel, you retain full access to your plan for the remainder of your current billing period. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it is deleted. We do not charge early termination fees.
How does the free trial work?
Pro and Business plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start your trial. At the end of the 14-day period, if you have not upgraded to a paid plan, your account automatically converts to the Starter (free) plan. You will not be charged unless you explicitly choose to subscribe to a paid plan by entering payment information.
What happens if I exceed my plan limits?
We will never cut off your access without warning. If you approach or exceed the limits of your plan (such as number of clusters or data retention period), we will send you an email notification with options to upgrade. We will always give you a reasonable window to act before any service impact. Our goal is to help you find the right plan, not to surprise you.
Are there discounts for startups or nonprofits?
Yes, we offer discounted rates for early-stage startups and registered nonprofits. Please contact us at support@kostkube.com with information about your organization, and our team will work with you on a suitable arrangement.
